Stress & Burnout
When ongoing stress turns into exhaustion and you notice that even rest no longer feels truly restorative.
Does this sound familiar?
- You often feel exhausted – even after a good night's sleep or a weekend off.
- Your mind keeps returning to work, responsibilities, or everything that still needs to be done.
- You feel like you constantly have to keep going, yet somehow never quite catch up.
- Switching off and truly relaxing has become increasingly difficult.
- You set high expectations for yourself or find it difficult to set boundaries and say no.
- Things that used to give you energy now sometimes feel like just another task.
How I can support you
Together, we look at what is contributing to and maintaining your stress – whether at work, in relationships, in everyday life, or through the expectations you place on yourself. The goal is not simply to reduce stress in the short term, but to understand underlying patterns and create sustainable change.
We develop practical strategies that fit your everyday life: healthier boundaries, better recovery, a more conscious way of dealing with pressure, and greater flexibility in how you respond to challenges. Step by step, the aim is to help you regain energy, clarity, and a greater sense of control.
My approach
My work combines insights from clinical psychology with evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioural techniques, stress psychology, and mindfulness.
Rather than focusing only on individual symptoms, we also look at what may be contributing to them: your thoughts and behavioural patterns, personal boundaries, demands at work and in your private life, as well as sleep, recovery, and everyday habits.
The aim is not perfection, but realistic change that you can actually integrate into your life.
You don't have to wait until you're completely exhausted
Support can be helpful long before ongoing stress develops into severe exhaustion or burnout. You may simply notice that you have been pushing beyond your limits for some time, find it difficult to switch off, or increasingly feel disconnected from yourself.
The earlier you understand what is putting you under pressure and which patterns may be contributing to it, the sooner you can make changes that protect your wellbeing in the long term.
