Life Transitions
Change is part of life. But even positive changes can feel challenging, bring uncertainty, and leave us wondering what comes next.
Perhaps this sounds familiar
- You're facing an important decision and aren't sure which path feels right for you.
- A change in your personal or professional life is challenging your usual routines, priorities, or plans.
- You've entered a new stage of life and are still finding your place within a new role or sense of identity.
- A move, relationship change, new job, or other transition has affected you more than you expected.
- Everything may seem fine from the outside, yet internally you feel uncertain or without direction.
- You know something needs to change, but you're not yet sure what you need or where you want to go next.
How I can support you
Life transitions can feel exciting, liberating, unsettling, and difficult – sometimes all at the same time. We may be leaving something familiar behind while what comes next is still taking shape.
Together, we create space to make sense of your current situation and explore what matters most to you right now. We look at the thoughts, emotions, and expectations surrounding the change and consider which values and needs can help guide you.
The aim is to develop new perspectives, make more conscious decisions, and approach your next steps with greater clarity and confidence.
My approach
My work is grounded in Clinical Psychology and evidence-based methods, including approaches from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, and mindfulness-based interventions.
During life transitions, we may also explore your personal values, identity, changing roles, relationships, and how you respond to uncertainty.
The goal isn't to find the “right” decision as quickly as possible. Instead, we develop a clearer understanding of what matters to you, the choices available to you, and how you can navigate change in a way that feels aligned with who you are and the life you want to build.
Change doesn't have to become a crisis
Psychological support can be valuable even when everything appears to be “fine” from the outside.
Perhaps you're facing an important decision, reconsidering your personal or professional direction, or noticing that a change is affecting you more deeply than you expected.
Having a professional space to reflect can help you organise your thoughts, understand your needs more clearly, and approach your next steps more intentionally.
